Hurricane Irene was inspiring. Watch out for a full length Hurricanes album released by Hand Rolled Gold in the early fall. It was recorded during the storm and shouldn't take too long to produce and master.

Still Blue Still Turning toured throughout the Northeast in June, playing shows in Boston, Roxbury, Providence, Easthampton, Philly, Baltimore, DC, and NYC. We were lucky to enjoy the tour with Teaadora, an amazing singer/artist/musician/overall person and Gospels, fellow Brooklyn Hand Rolled Gold banger. Thanks to everyone who came out and made it all possible!

We recorded a short cassette for Hand Rolled Gold at the Paper Sun in Washington, D.C. You can download Live in DC here or buy the cassette for $4 here on the Hand Rolled Gold site.

Still Blue Still Turning has just released a new cassette on the label Hand Rolled Gold. The tape contains a few tracks off Simone, most with fresh treatments and new mixes. There are also a handful of new tracks, so check it out.

Still Blue Still Turning is currently working on a new disc to be released toward the end of this summer; check back for news about the new project, tentatively entitled American Artist.
